New Orleans is the only American city that I can imagine living in full time (and I’ve lived in a lot of them). The city has called to me since I was a teenager before I'd ever visited (I think I read too many Ann Rice novels). This place has an esprit de corps like nowhere else in the USA or likely the world. It is the most consistently creative, interesting, and innovative places I have ever been. And I’m so excited to have been a part of it since 2013.
In my past life, I was a professional ballet dancer for 11 years, starting my career straight out of high school. After I retired from ballet at 29, I completed my BFA in Art Education and Visual Culture: Museum and Community Studies at the University of Arizona. I moved to New Orleans as fast as I could once I graduated. Once here, I got to work quickly joining the cultural fabric of the city, managing at both Preservation Hall and Trixie Minx Productions. I bought my first house, in the historic 7th ward, in 2016. I can’t wait to use my attention to detail and work ethic honed through years of dance and my knowledge of this great city to help you find your perfect corner of the world too.
